We are extremely lucky to have the support of a worldclass technical team.

Between them they are bringing over 150 years of experience to the production.

The chief designer managing the technical side of Kiss Me Goodbye is Joe Atkins of 43Media. Joe is an English born designer with over 25 years experience in Theatre, Film, Television, Conferences, Product Launches, Exhibitions & Live Events.

Joe Atkins, of 43Media

As the youngest lighting designer on Broadway, New York, The New York Times said of Joe: “Lovely, too, is the lighting by Joe Atkins … the stunning opening tableau, with its soft, satin like highlights and deep shadows, look like something by John Singer Sargent, just back from Madrid and high on Velazquez.”

Joe has over 30 West End credits and several Broadway credits as well as shows in Australia, South Africa, Canada, France, Germany, Austria, Italy and The Irish Republic. Joe has over 500 credits in the corporate event world for such clients as 3com, Temenos, ICSC, EMC, BT, RBS, Bank of Scotland, Sysco, Logica, First National Bank, BP, Honda, B&Q and Boots.

He has known and worked with each and every one of the members of the technical team for over 20 years.

Ian Johnston is a conference and live event producer, with training and a background in commercial theatre.

Ian originally trained as a stage manager at RADA and began his career in West End theatre in the mid 70’s. Ian Johnston [a.k.a. The Hairy Nugget] now specialises in corporate events production in a wide range of styles.

We are very lucky he will be stage managing this production and we could not be in safer hands.

With an unusual mix of creative and technical skills and a friendly and approachable style, Ian is able to establish a comfortable and productive working relationship very quickly at all levels within an organisation.

FreeStyle Audio, Ludlow Festival, 5 Stages, 20,000 people

Ian Horrocks-Taylor is a Sound Designer, and the Sound Manager for the Theatre Royal Windsor over the Windsor Festival week.

Ian heads up FreeStyle Audio based in Wraysbury, Berkshire, a company dedicated to fulfilling your technical needs and artistic vision in all areas of acoustic production.

They have worked on diverse projects from Ludlow Festival, with 5 stages for 20,000 people, to a Bahamas Beach Party and a production of Chicago in Lebanon. They have worked for corporates from a Berlin warehouse concert for IBM, to working with events with Ricoh, Gartner, Cisco, Microfocus, Syngenta, Castrol, amongst many others.

FreeStyle Audio provides sound equipment hire and solutions to all areas of the corporate and entertainment markets. No job or client is too big or too small and they are an approachable company to go to with all of your event’s audio equipment hire needs. They are a dedicated team of professionals with many years of experience under their belts, and they take away the pressure of that part of your event.

Jim Letts is the Front Of House Sound Engineer on the production, part of the formidable 43Media team he says “music is the single most important thing in my life, the rest is mere detail” and his Jim’s favorite quote: “That’s all well and groovy sweetie but what’s gonna happen this side of the wardrobe?”

There are many more people working the demanding posts that a production requires and Kiss Me Goodbye is appreciative of each and everyone of their contributions. Without their experience, dedication and support none of this would happen.
