Physical Poetry: one interpretation of “Timing”

Post image for Physical Poetry: one interpretation of “Timing”

Marek Sikora of Plenty To Declare, came to a Sneak Preview held in Daniels’s Department Store, Windsor, UK, on Saturday 10th September 2011. We put four of the images of the dancers with a verse of the poem, Timing, each just to see what the effect is.

She brushed his elbow,
Coloured slightly,
Breathed his name:
‘Too late,’ he said.

She wrote him letters,
Loved him madly,
Blessed his name:
‘Too late,’ he said.

He kept her letters,
Weakened slightly,
Sighed her name:
‘Too late,’ he said.

He caught her elbow,
Coloured madly,
Screamed her name:
‘Too late,’ she said.

The poem, Timing, is by Jonathan Steffen
